Emperor Vasilios[]
Up to several years prior to the current timeline, Thesion and Emperor Vasilios shared a strong and political alliance where Thesion offered counsel to the emperor and he was a large factor in saving the Vasilios Empire from famine. Unaware that Medea Solon was the one who came up with the solution, Emperor Vasilios rewarded the duke for his great contributions to the empire. Over the years, Thesion gradually gained the king's favor and became a trusted counsel to the imperial family. Emperor Vasilios was thoroughly impressed with what he believed was Thesion's insight and intelligence. He eventually promised to wed Medea and Eros Orna Vasilios, strengthening the ties between the imperial family and the ducal house.[1]
Nana[]
Because Thesion neglected his daughter since childhood, Nana took it upon herself to care for Medea in his stead.[1] She was not afraid to stand up to the duke for Medea Solon's sake. After the Crown Princess contest, Thesion punished Nana, claiming that she was responsible for failing to raise Medea properly. He severely beat her with a cane until she died before he then ordered to have her body mutilated and tossed into a river.[2]
Psyche Callista[]
Thesion is unaware that Psyche is currently inhabiting Medea Solon's body.
Family[]
Medea Solon[]
Medea is Thesion's daughter who does not share a close relationship with. As a child, Medea used her extensive knowledge to consult her father on various political affairs. In return, Thesion would often bestow upon her lavish gifts of dolls, precious gems and fine silks. Initially, she genuinely wanted to help her father as he advised the emperor. Once she discovered that her father was taking credit for all her ideas, she realized it would be his name, not hers, that would end up in the history books. She thus took advantage of her engagement with the Crown Prince to further her social status and surpass her father.[3] After Medea lost in the Crown Princess contest, Thesion tortured Nana for Medea's failure, blaming the maid for improperly raising his daughter. When Medea attempted to intervene, the duke accidentally struck her with his cane, rendering her unconscious for a week.[2]
Since the name of Solon has fallen, Thesion spends most of his time out of the house, neglecting his daughter and he is unaware that Psyche Callista currently inhabits Medea's body.
Meti Solon[]
Meti is Thesion's wife who shares his ambitions of furthering the reputation of the House of Solon. Together, they neglected their parental duties and left Medea Solon in the care of Nana. She supported the duke as he counseled Emperor Vasilios over the years.[1] After Nana's death, Meti suggested to disguise the murder as the work of bandits and Thesion took her advice as he ordered servants to mutilate Nana's body and throw it into a river.[2]
Dekis Solon[]
Dekis is Thesion's first born and only son.
