He is usually seen dressed in solid-colored, high quality fabrics.
Personality[]
Mone is extremely overbearing and protective of his only daughter Psyche Callista.
Even after Psyche was allowed to venture out of the manor, Mone kept a strict watch over her whereabouts.
Background[]
Mone Callista was born as a child of the previous Pope of Vasilios and Count of House Callista. The previous Pope pursued a Callista out of desire to give birth to a child possessing divinity, although Mone turned out to be an ordinary child. As is customary for their family, Mone served the Temple of Vasilios as a knight and aid to the current Pope of Vasilios. He helped out with the Pope's secret experiments, seeing that the Pope often brought in young blond and gray-haired children called "lambs". Mone suspected that this was related to the current's Pope desire to pursue divinity.[2]
When Mone was twenty years old, the Pope set him up to marry one of the lambs he had taken in, giving him a choice between a pair of twins. The Pope also granted Mone an estate and the title of Count. Although a generous gesture on the surface, Mone felt as if the Pope were discarding him. Mone chose to marry the twin who entered the room with a smile, reasoning that she would be more docile. Afterwards, Mone entered a world that was unfamiliar to him. That night, his new wife told him a little of her backstory as a lamb, and Mone gave her the name Eve. To follow the Pope's orders of living a good life, Mone publicly put on a loving act towards his Eve, although he soon developed genuine feelings for her.[3]
After Psyche Callista was born, Mone and Eve discovered that she was blessed by the Guardian Deity of Vasilios with divinity, an extraordinary healing ability. Afraid that others would take advantage of his daughter if they discovered her power, Mone confined Psyche to the basement beneath the manor of their estate, forbidding her from entering the outside world. When Psyche reached the age of fifteen, Mone released her on orders of the Crown Prince Eros Orna Vasilios [4] and he then allowed Psyche to debut in high society.[5] Even after allowing her to live a somewhat ordinary life as a noble, Mone kept close watch over her whereabouts.[6]
Relationships[]
Medea Solon[]
Mone interacted with Medea when she inhabited his daughter Psyche Callista's body.
After the body-switch on the day of the Yearly Prayer, Mone forbade Medea from leaving the estate.[6]
Family[]
Eve Callista[]
Eve was Mone's first wife who shared a mutual understanding that Psyche Callista's divinity had to be protected from prying eyes. Together, they locked Psyche in the basement beneath the manor for fifteen years until her official debut in high society.[7]
Countess Callista[]
Countess Callista is Mone's second and current wife following the death of Eve Callista.
Psyche Callista[]
Psyche is Mone's only daughter. Along with his wife Eve Callista, he was worried that those with malicious intent would attempt to take advantage of Psyche's divinity, so he and Eve locked up Psyche in the basement beneath their manor for fifteen years, only releasing her upon Eros Orna Vasilios' request.[4]
After allowing Psyche to attend the debutante ball and debut in high society [5], Mone maintained his overbearing protective nature and closely monitored her whereabouts.
When Psyche was poisoned from the red lilies gifted by Medea Solon [8], Mone expressed concern over her well-being and hesitated to allow her to visit the Temple on the day of the Yearly Prayer.[9]
