Synopsis[]
Medea manages to return to the count's manor before the servants can check up on her. As news of the engagement between Medea and King Hennel spreads like wildfire throughout the empire, Eros scoffs at the House of Solon's ambition, recalling the greed in Medea's eyes the first time they met. Meanwhile, Thesion eagerly finalizes the royal engagement, easily offering his daughter's hand in exchange for wealth and status in the Kingdom of Hennel. Psyche recalls Helio's desperate suggestion to assassinate the duke and decides to use whatever means necessary to pull herself out of the predicament. As Duke Solon enters Medea's bedchambers, he witnesses Psyche standing precariously on the edge of the balcony rail.
